Working with the Nature

-Lyse Nætter by Alberte Winding, Aske Bentzon

What did we do, what we should not have done, or what should we do does matter these days, especially in the future? We are aware that this is a result of the actions we did in the past. We might blame other countries or other people about this deadly disease, but did we as individuals have seen our own failures? This is not a talk about who started it, instead, when it started?

Waste segregating, promoting harsh chemical- and cruelty-free products, recycling of plastic bottles, initiating paper less reading, recycling of paper, minimizing food waste, recycling garments, composting, buying and/or using high quality products, using raw materials responsibly and countless ways to save our planet.

Global Warming

Who else is not busy? We are very occupied with so many things to improve ourselves either at work or in anything we care about. Our 24-hour routine is not enough to finish our daily tasks (for me at least). We have priorities and sad to say, many of us have long forgotten that we are living in a world that became so vulnerable, that it is starting to show its weakness and harshness at the same time. The natural phenomenon has been happening often than they should be, like global warming as a good example. Their frequency doesn't happen in every 100 years or so anymore. Of course, we multiply, which means we produce more waste, but not necessarily mean, we are careless. We are aware, but being aware will not help if we do not act. The smallest plastic candy wrapper we dropped or threw away in the open air is now polluting the land. You know what Greta Tintin Eleonora Ernman Thunberg is talking about.

It took me years of mastering the art of recycling that started in my own home. Culture has always been a part of this practice. It could be that I am living in a country where focus for sustainability is a goal. But I clearly remember that I used to keep plastic bottles or food packaging in my bag when there is no available trash bin along the way. It was a rare incident though. And I get very sad when I see other people throwing their food take-away trash out the window of their cars. The same thing happens through poor hygiene and mistreating animals. We don't need a certificate to be able to become good at recycling. Maybe a free short course would do. We just need to love our own home, our nature. If we cannot agree living or working with other people, why not work with the nature instead.

Many have been very concern about the environment and  are making efforts in order to continue sustaining it, may they be from the public sector, private, charity organizations and individuals.

COVID-19 Pandemi

In this unfortunate time of corona, many might have lost their jobs, income and a part of their family. Positive effect on the other hand is always remarkable and I hope we would be able live up with it even after the outbreak.

If I am to name a few exemplary private organizations, "støtteforeningen HOPE project - Denmark, Alpha Phi Omega Fraternity & Sorority (from my hometown Angeles City and chapters in Pampanga), Rotary Club of Angeles Skytown (Angeles City), frontliners in my family, and Sacred Heart of Jesus Apostolic Community Group. They are innumerable. And as radiant as he could be, President Rodrigo Duterte of the Philippines may have an iron fist, but he is surely what the Filipino people need.

Corona Virus defined

Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses which may cause illness in animals or humans.  In humans, several coronaviruses are known to cause respiratory infections ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). The most recently discovered coronavirus causes coronavirus disease COVID-19. -WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION
